Bark

BARK is a pet supply company based out of Columbus, OH. BARK incorporated its mission into its office design and created "the world's most dog-friendly office." It needs to be, as the office plays host to around 50 dogs. The design firm, NBBJ, thought of everything when designing BARK's corporate headquarters.

Fabric is durable and easy to clean, there are built-in doggy gates and water bowls, and much of the furniture is designed to encourage play - with ramps and tunnels built into them. The office isn't just intended for puppy play time, as there are plenty of comfortable work nooks that feel more like bunk beds than a workstation.

Google

Google, headquartered in California, is an American corporation best known for its search engine.

The company first gained notoriety as a search engine; to this day, advertising still accounts for the bulk of its revenue. Nevertheless, Google has diversified into hardware, software, and cloud computing sectors.

Google started in a garage in Menlo Park but now has a shiny new headquarters in Mountainview, California. Workers at Google's biggest site are developing innovations affecting billions of people.

Taking care of "Googlers" is good for business; therefore, the corporation provides perks like a wellness center and workout facility. Googlers may improve their teamwork by working up a sweat in a group fitness session, biking to one of the on-campus cafes on a "gBike," and taking a coffee-tasting or cooking class together.

According to Google, the campus was developed with the wants and requirements of workers in mind, and it was created in partnership with internationally renowned architecture firms Bjarke Ingels Group and Heatherwick Studio.

The interiors of the buildings are a mix of large, open areas with 30 courtyards or atriums and smaller rooms where workers may retreat for privacy.

Focus and collaboration areas are separated by placing team spaces on the top level and gathering spaces on the lower level, with easy access between the two.

Amazon

This American online retailer started as an online bookselling company and is one of history's most famous corporate success stories. It is headquartered in Seattle, WA, and boasts "the Earth's Biggest Selection" of items, including everything from sports equipment and home furnishings to consumer electronics and music.

Amazon's HQ2 in Arlington, VA, is a double-helix glass tower that winds around two densely manicured pedestrian walkways and comes with a $2.5 billion price tag.

The HQ2 proves that traditional workplace layouts with cubicles and a hushed atmosphere are becoming extinct. The space was designed to encourage collaboration, highlight the beauty of the outdoors, and warmly welcome employees.

Apple

Apple Inc., previously known as Apple Computer, Inc., is based in Cupertino, California, and produces software, computer accessories, tablet computers, smartphones, and personal computers (PC). The business was instrumental in spreading the graphical user interface concept and mainstreaming PCs.

You won't be able to take the biggest Apple product ever produced home to use, but it is impressive to see. One of Steve Jobs' last projects was for Apple Park, the company's second site in Cupertino, California. Apple's commitment to cutting-edge technology, renewable energy, and design is represented by its famous office - the ring-shaped skyscraper.

Approximately $5 billion was spent on the construction of Apple Park, which is 2.8 million square feet in size and has enough workspace for 12,000 workers. Built by Foster + Partners, the complex has acre upon acre of apricot trees, glazed walls, and perhaps the most enormous, airiest café you'll ever behold.

Facebook

Facebook is a social networking website owned by the firm Meta Platforms. As an undergraduate at Harvard, Mark Zuckerberg came up with the idea for Facebook. By 2021, Facebook had approximately three billion users, with roughly half logging in daily. Menlo Park, California, is home to the company's headquarters.

Facebook swiftly outgrew its last two offices and contracted Gensler to transform the former Sun Microsystems campus. The firm specifically assigned some of its younger designers to the job to inject youthful energy into the still-developing company's headquarters. This would be no easy feat, given that the building is almost 1,000,000 square feet and is largely comprised of private offices.

Unlike other offices, several of the walls and areas remain unfilled. Staff members are invited to use the facility as a blank canvas, adding their mark with scribbles and artwork and rearranging furniture as required. In this modern workplace, employees have more freedom to shape their environments. They can decorate their workplace with artwork by invited designers and artists.

Microsoft

With its beginnings on April 4, 1975, Microsoft has grown to become a global powerhouse in the IT industry. Bill Gates, who dropped out of Harvard University to form Microsoft with his buddy Paul Allen, has built the world's largest software corporation from scratch.

Microsoft's new two-building office was built by Gensler to highlight the company's cutting-edge infrastructure, employee connection, and innovative approaches to work.

People may meet in wellness and game rooms, shared social centers, or "open neighborhoods," all of which provide new ways to engage with one another. Giant fabric-wrapped cubes are suspended in both lobbies and their light color changes in response to the motion of visitors. The new layout takes into account people's desire to communicate with one another and with the natural world. By designing the atrium in the style of a canyon, light may be directed into otherwise dark areas.

Exxon

The integrated gas and oil firm Exxon Mobil Corp. (ExxonMobil) produces, develops, and searches for natural gas liquids, natural gas, and crude oil.

The new office complex's Pickard Chilton design includes many services for employees, including a wellness center, child care, and a laboratory. Training and conference rooms and low-rise office buildings also abound.

The campus is big, but a lot of it is still undeveloped green land. Employees can go from one end of the campus to the other in about 7 minutes, thanks to the developed areas. Despite the size of the campus, architects have laid up a network of circular routes to let people travel more efficiently from one place to another. They have also established significant social hotspots around the campus where individuals can meet on the spur of the moment.

Uber

Uber runs a digital platform that uses the company's extensive network and technology to move commodities and people from one location to another. Its mobility business offers ride-hailing services, while its delivery company handles grocery, food, and other deliveries. Its freight division handles freight transportation. The goal of Uber's platform is to link customers and service providers with people and companies who require these services.

Uber enlisted the help of Huntsman Architectural Group to develop an employee-focused campus that supports connection, well-being, and choice.

By designing a campus layout with socialization areas, collaboration spaces, health facilities, and team rooms that are thoughtfully positioned to encourage mobility and interaction across the campus, Huntsman established a destination for workers to socialize and collaborate.

Airbnb

Airbnb links people who wish to rent out their homes with those who need to stay in certain locations.

The Environments Team at Airbnb collaborated with the local architecture group WRNS to create 999 Brannan, a new office in San Francisco. Together with 888 Brannan, the location will make up Airbnb's US Headquarters.

For Airbnb, designing enjoyable and useful environments was a top focus. For instance, their San Francisco headquarters features a replica of a Dutch houseboat from Airbnb that is difficult to overlook. The cabin is a practical meeting space with little cubbies built into both sides where individuals can comfortably undertake concentrated work. It is whimsical yet has a purpose.

Gusto

Benefits, HR, and payroll are sometimes uncharted territory for small firms. Employees depend on you to remain current on all the requirements and to ensure that you're paying them competitive salaries and other benefits. Gusto is a user-friendly, all-in-one HR software that assists small businesses with compliance, attendance and time, onboarding, hiring, benefits, and managing payroll.

Gusto's San Francisco office was once a machine shop for military submarines and destroyers and has been renovated into a gigantic living room where Gusties remove their shoes for an extraordinary office experience.

Nike

Nike is well-recognized for its equipment, gear, and footwear. The firm, which began as Blue Ribbon Sports in 1964, was renamed in 1971 as "Nike" after the Greek goddess of triumph. The Nike headquarters lies at the foot of a skyscraper with residences above. When Nike came knocking, the space had never been inhabited.

The levels above are open areas without private offices or designated seating. The 180 workers, divided into leadership, communications, branding, and design teams, hide their possessions in lockers. Employees can relax with their laptops in the library, conference rooms, lounges, and booths.

21st Century Fox

21st Century Fox was established in New York and offers mass communication and media services. In addition to running broadcasting and cable networks across the world, the corporation also owns a television and film studio that produces television shows and movies.

By redesigning 21st Century Fox's corporate offices, Gensler refocused the firm's efforts on the media behemoth's content development and worker experience. The result was a remarkably collaborative office space.

A central plaza with three attractions serves as the focal point and energy of the executive floor. 21st Century Fox's TV and film history in news, sports, and entertainment are shown in a gallery with frame-lit glass cases featuring costume and prop samples from past productions. There are social and collaboration spaces incorporated there. Clients and workers may go to private screenings and enjoy visual material in the plaza's central open screening room.

Lego

The Danish corporation has lived by the motto “play well” for more than 80 years, and the name Lego is an acronym of the two words "LEg GOdt," which means "play well."

LEGO's corporate headquarters in Billund, Denmark, opened to the public on March 5 following five years of planning and building. The 580,00 sq. ft. facility was created by its architects in the image of the cherished family-owned Danish toy company, a campus designed to promote fun and productivity.

Danish architects incorporated self-watering plants, solar roofs, and eco-friendly construction materials into the LEGO complex since protecting the environment is a shared responsibility in that country.

Zynga

Zynga operates under the free-to-play paradigm. Direct credit card payments and partnerships with other companies help generate revenue. While users are playing its games, it offers in-game virtual products for sale, enables in-game advertising, and places banner ads all across its gaming portals.

The headquarters of Zynga, dubbed "The Dog House," has a wellness center, basketball court, gym, gaming arcade, and coffee shop. Zynga founder Mark Pincus wanted to establish a whimsical gaming setting at the company's headquarters in San Francisco. Zynga workers, often known as "Zyngites," get free personal training, access to a dietitian on staff, and gourmet meals.
